Looking for your next page-to-screen obsession in 2024? Well, Netflix has a few book adaptations in the works, and the first will be the series One Day, which lands on Netflix just in time for Valentine's Day. The book of the same name by David Nicholls was first adapted into the 2011 film of the same name, which starred Anne Hathaway and and Jim Sturgess.
This time around, The White Lotus breakout Leo Woodall and This is Going to Hurt star Ambika Mod take on the roles of Dexter Mayhew and Emma Morley in the sweeping, years-spanning love story. One Day begins on the day Emma and Dexter meet, then catches up with them on that same day year after year as their relationship grows, evolves, and changes shape in unexpected ways.
The limited series contains 14 episodes that are about 30 minutes each, making for a rather quick binge-watch when it drops on Feb. 8, 2024. If Bridgerton fans couldn't get season 3 at the top of the year, One Day will definitely make for a solid substitute. For those who have either read the book or seen the 2011 movie, you know you're going to need the tissues for this one.
