Couples Retreat parents guide: Is Couples Retreat okay for kids?

According to Parent Previews, Couples Retreat initially received an R rating from the MPAA due to its explicit sexual content and language. However, following an appeal, the rating was adjusted to PG-13.

The film features a continuous flow of suggestive sexual innuendos, explicit discussions, and crude references to male anatomy. It also includes disturbing sexual scenes and a generous sprinkling of profanity and vulgarity throughout.

As a result,  we believe that Couples Retreat is not suitable for young children, and parents should carefully consider whether to permit their children to view it.
