Love is Blind might arguably be the best dating reality series on Netflix, but The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On just has to come in second. The second season of the dating series recently finished its run on Netflix, and now everyone’s wondering where the cast is as of August 2023. Which of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 2 couples are still together? Keep reading to find out!

Production on the second season is believed to have taken place from September to November 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Five different couples come on the show to figure out whether they want to take the next step in their relationship and get married or break up for good.

But before that happens, each couple is split up and enters a trial marriage with one person from a different pairing for three weeks. That way, every participant gets a glimpse of two different possible futures. Then, once the three weeks are up, everyone’s reunited with their original partners and must decide whether they want to commit to marriage, break up, or move on with their trial partners.

While Lisa and Brian decided to leave the social experiment early after finding out they were expecting, the remaining four couples continued on. In the end, the original couples, Kat and Alex, Ryann and James, Riah and Trey, and Roxanne and Antonio, all decide to get engaged. But are they still together? Are any of the couples married? Here’s where The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 2 cast is today.

The Ultimatum is known for its drama, but no one was expecting so much drama to happen in the first episode of the second season. Lisa issued the ultimatum to Brian, and she had hoped that he’d quickly come to his senses and propose. But Brian wanted to see the social experiment through and mingled with the other female cast members, especially Riah. Although Brian wasn’t wrong for socializing and getting to know his castmates, Lisa didn’t like him doing so one bit.

She lashed out at Brian in anger and even slapped him. Then, she called Riah all types of disrespectful names. It just wasn’t a good look on her part. After finding out she’s pregnant, Lisa informs Brian and they decide to leave the show together after the third episode. Based on the conversation they had about their relationship going forward in the third episode, it looks like they left the show still a couple. They just didn’t get engaged.

During the reunion episode, which is believed to have been filmed sometime in the summer of 2023, we find out that Lisa and Brian are still together and have welcomed a baby boy named Mason. However, they’re still not engaged or married. When asked about their marriage timeline Brian tells Nick and Vanessa Lachey that they foresee getting married in the future but aren’t at that point yet.

When we’re first introduced to Riah and Trey, it’s obvious that they have some problems they need to work on before taking the next step in their relationship. While Riah wasn’t quite ready for marriage just yet, Trey believed that they could work on their problems while married.

Riah was at a point in her life where she was trying to figure out what she wanted to pursue career-wise while Trey was already situated in his career. This was a major issue in their relationship. Then, there was the issue of lack of romance in their relationship. Riah felt like Trey wasn’t as romantic as he used to be when they first started dating. Another problem they needed to work through was kids. Trey wanted kids, and Riah didn’t not want kids, but just wasn’t sure.

Trey ends up forming a close bond with his trial marriage partner Ryann. He even develops some feelings for her. Meanwhile, Riah and her trial partner James just aren’t connecting. When it was time to decide whether to commit to marriage or move on, Trey proposed to Riah and Riah accepted his proposal.

During the reunion episode, Riah and Trey reveal they’re still together and engaged. Riah tells Nick, Vanessa, and the rest of the cast that she and Trey are looking to do a destination wedding with it being set sometime in the spring of 2025.

The main issue that Roxanne and Antonio kept running into in their relationship was Roxanne feeling like Antonio was inadequate as a partner when it came to his career path. While Roxanne owned her own pasties business and was pretty much the breadwinner in their relationship, Antonio just hadn’t reached that level of success in his career path yet. Roxanne also didn’t believe in marriage while Antonio did.

While at first, it seemed that Roxanne and her trial marriage partner Alex were getting along great and could possibly leave the show together, things quickly go left when Roxanne realizes that she and Alex aren’t compatible. In the end, Roxanne and Antonio get engaged.

During the reunion episode, we find out that Roxanne and Antonio are still together and engaged but Roxanne doesn’t like wearing her engagement ring. They don’t have a wedding date set either. When it comes to Antonio and his career, he now owns a car wash in Georgia and has signed on with a car customization franchise as an approved franchisee.

When asked if she would marry Antonio, Roxanne tells Vanessa Lachey that it’s just not at the top of her mind at the moment. Vanessa then follows up by asking both Roxanne and Antonio if they would get married right then and now, and Antonio tells her yes while Roxanne tells her no.

Kat and Alex had been dating for two years at the time of filming The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 2. Nick called him and Kat an adventurous couple who enjoy traveling all around the world together on the show. But Kat was done being just a girlfriend. She was ready to settle down and become a wife while Alex had cold feet.

Honestly, we weren’t so sure about Kat and Alex leaving the social experiment together as an engaged couple because once Alex got together with his trial marriage partner Roxanne, it seemed like they were really into each other. However, that relationship quickly went south and Alex popped the question to Kat in the end.

During the reunion episode, Kat and Alex reveal that they will be getting married on May 10, 2024. Kat also tells the rest of the cast that since getting engaged, Alex has become more ready to settle down, buy a house, and have kids.

High school sweethearts Ryann and James ended up engaged in the end, but it took James finally opening up about his childhood and him proving to Ryann that he was ready to take the next step.

Although Ryann and her trial marriage partner Trey had strong chemistry and a lot of things in common, Ryann couldn’t see herself wanting to be with anyone else but James. However, Trey did end up developing feelings. Their trial marriage didn’t go any further than what it was, though.

During the reunion episode, James reveals to everyone that he proposed to Ryann again after they wrapped filming because he wanted the proposal to be a more intimate experience. He and Ryann also reveal that they’re finally living together, but not by themselves. James moved in with Ryann at her parent’s house. They tell the rest of the cast that their wedding date is set for Sept. 30, 2024.
