6. Seven Kings Must Die

Seven Kings Must Die became one of the biggest Netflix movies of the year when it debuted thanks to the hype surrounding it and the many fans carrying over from the original series.

For those who don’t know, Seven Kings Must Die is the sequel film to The Last Kingdom, the Netflix original series that ran for five seasons and ended in the spring of 2022. The film picks up several years after the events of the final season of The Last Kingdom. The series is based on the book series written by Bernard Cornwell.

Following the death of King Edward’s death, there are several kings, lords, and enemies making a play for the throne. They all want to become King of England. Uhtred of Bebbanburg, played by the great Alexander Dreymon, finds himself, again, in the middle of a war for the throne. What will our hero do?

We loved watching Seven Kings Must Die and seeing how this series comes to an end. If you need a reminder of what happened in The Last Kingdom season 5, you can still check out the final episodes before tuning into the movie.
