19. Shadow and Bone
Shadow and Bone season 2 premiered on Netflix on March 16. Fans had to wait almost two full years to watch the second season following the release of the first season in April 2021. It was a long wait, and whether it was worth it is sadly up for debate.
The second season of Shadow and Bone covers the second and third books of Leigh Bardugo’s trilogy, Ruin and Rising and Siege and Storm. The season begins with Alina and Mal on the run from the Darkling and Ravka, and Alina is very interested in trying to find another amplifier to expand her power so she can, one day, return and destroy the Shadow Fold. The Darkling has other plans, though.
Shadow and Bone season 2 isn’t quite as popular as the first season, so it remains to be seen if we’re going to get a third season and possible Six of Crows spinoff on Netflix. We’ll just have to cross our fingers, but if you have any interest in seeing Shadow and Bone return for season 3 or the hyped Six of Crows spinoff, you need to binge-watch season 2 and then convince your friends and family to do the same.
