Celebrity release date

One of the most highly anticipated Korean dramas set to drop in June would have to be Celebrity. Instead of episodes of the show being released weekly like many Netflix Korean dramas, the entire first season will drop at once. All 12 episodes of the first season will be released on Netflix on Friday, June 30 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET.

Celebrity is a thriller series helmed by Kim Cheol-kyu from scripts written by Kim Yi-young. It follows the life of Seo A-ri, a woman who becomes a celebrity and top influencer in social media overnight. But as she enters the world of glitz and glam as a celebrity, she soon encounters the dark side of fame.

Park Gyu-young, whose known for her previous roles in the Netflix K-Dramas Sweet Home and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, stars as Seo A-ri. Additionally, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Dong-gun, and Jun Hyo-seong star in the series.

The Uncanny Counter season 2 release date

06/21/23 Update: The Uncanny Counter season 2 has been given a premiere date of July 29, 2023. New episodes are released twice a week on Saturday and Sunday until the season finale on Sept. 3, 2023.

I think I speak for many people when I say The Uncanny Counter is one of the best Korean dramas streaming on Netflix. The first season premiered on the streamer in November 2020, and it only took two months for the thriller series to be renewed for a second season. Since then, fans have been waiting on The Uncanny Counter season 2 to come out.

Unfortunately, we still do not have an official release date yet. But it’s been revealed that the second season will premiere in July 2023, with new episodes dropping every Saturday and Sunday.

Based on the Daum webtoon Amazing Rumor by Jang Yi, comes a show about demon hunters calling themselves the Counters. As they pose as workers in a noodle shop during the day, they search for and banish evil spirits hoping to gain immortality at night.

The second season will see the return of Jo Byung-gyu as So Mun, Yoo Jun-sang as Ga Mo-tak, Kim Se-jeong as Do Ha-na, and Yeom Hye-ran as Choo Mae-ok. New actors joining this season are Jin Seok-kyu, Kang Ki-young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In-soo.

We’ll constantly update this space with more Korean dramas coming to Netflix in 2023, so make sure to check back every now and then.
