Actor Peter Dinklage, best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, takes a break from showing off his talent in front of the screen and narrates the documentary. The star also executive-produced what Netflix calls the “darkly satirical crime” project. Just those few words have definitely piqued our interest.
So when is the production coming out, and how much time do you need to watch it? We’ve got the answer for you below!
How many episodes of How to Become a Cult Leader are there?
How to Become a Cult Leader has a total of six episodes. While Netflix releases certain shows weekly or daily, that shouldn’t be the case for the docuseries. The true-crime doc will follow the streamer’s usual binge-watch model. The episodes drop Friday, July 28, 2023, on Netflix.
Viewers will see the stories of six known cult leaders and how they achieved “unconditional love, endless devotion, and the power to control people’s minds, bodies, and souls,” per the synopsis.
The series depicts this exploration in a satirical way as if we’re being given an actual guidebook on how to, well, become a cult leader. The trailer reveals what these leaders preach, how they convince people and the types of things that cult leaders coerce their followers into doing.
