A Perfect Story synopsis: What is A Perfect Story about?

It follows a woman named Margot, a heiress to a hotel empire, who after having a panic attack, decides to skip out on her own wedding. Margot had been following the path that her family had set out for her. She always did what others told her to do, but on the day of her wedding, she decided it was time to make a change. So, she quickly puts on her Nike tennis shoes and escapes through a window as her family yells for her to come back.

Meanwhile, a man named David is experiencing a bad breakup. Unlike Margot, David doesn’t come from a wealthy background. In fact, he has to work three jobs to make ends meet. When these two very different people cross paths, they find themselves helping each other out, and their lives forever changed.

Here’s the official synopsis via Netflix Media Center:

"Margot and David come from different worlds. She is heiress to a hotel empire. He has to work three jobs to make ends meet. But when their paths come together, they realise that only they can help each other win back the love of their lives."

Besides Castillo and Mel, the cast is made up of Ana Belén, Ingrid García Jonsson, Lourdes Hernandez, Lydia Pavón, Tai Fati, Jimmy Castro, Mario Ermito, and others. In addition, it’s rated TV-MA, meaning it’s meant to be viewed by mature audiences only. It was given this maturity rating for strong language, nudity, and sex. So this isn’t a show you want to watch with younger kids around. We suggest waiting to watch it when they’re off to bed or occupied with a kids’ movie or series.
