XO, Kitty

A spinoff of the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movies, XO, Kitty is a very sweet and endearing new Netflix romantic comedy series that has quickly generated a lot of attention thanks to its inclusive and surprisingly heartwarming storylines.

It can be a little cheesy at times, but overall, XO, Kitty is an absolute blast from start to finish. I don’t want to spoil the show for those who haven’t gotten the chance to watch it yet, but there is a significant storyline for one character who realizes they’re queer and has to come to terms with that. It’s really unexpected but in the best way.

With the show released so close to Pride Month, now feels like a great time to celebrate the diverse cast of characters featured in this show. XO, Kitty follows Lara Jean Song-Covey’s (Lana Condor) youngest sister Katherine “Kitty” Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart), as she embarks on a new adventure to boarding school in Korea and gets immersed in a romance story all her own.

While Lara Jean and Peter are not in the spinoff, you will see a couple of characters from the movie, like John Corbett reprising his role as Lara Jean and Kitty’s father, Dan Covey.
