It’s time for another chapter of the Insidious stories. Insidious: The Red Door is out in theaters, but where will it stream online? Will it come to Netflix?

Patrick Wilson is back as Josh Lambert again. This time, he’s with his grown-up son, who has come a long way since the first movie. Josh is taking Dalton to college, which should be a peaceful and exciting drive. That’s not what it becomes, though.

Remember those repressed demons? Well, they’re coming up again. This time, they’re haunting both father and son, and it’s going to make college a living nightmare. Can’t the Lamberts just catch a break?

The movie is currently out in theaters, but we also know that it will head to streaming at some point in the future. The question is which streaming platform this one will end up on.

The good news is there is a chance that it will end up on Netflix. While it’s a Blumhouse movie, Sony has the distribution rights. This could lead to the distribution of the streaming rights, and we know Sony and Netflix have a deal in place right now.

If this deal stands despite Blumhouse being the production studio, then we could see Insidious: The Red Door heading to Netflix sometime in October or November of this year.

The good news is you won’t need to wait until the end of the year to buy the movie on Digital. It will be available to rent or buy via all your favorite platforms within the next two to three months. this includes Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, and Vudu. When you buy, the movie is added to your online library and you get to watch as often as you want without a subscription to a streaming service.
