Lucifer’s polarizing ending was great

When a show with a passionate fanbase ends, there’s no way that the series finale will please every single viewer. It’s just impossible. Each viewer goes into the ending with preconceived notions and hopes for how it will end. Lucifer, one of the most popular Netflix shows of all time, came to an end in 2021, and the fan reception was mixed.

In the series finale, Lucifer returns to hell and becomes a therapist for lost souls, and he’s ultimately reunited with Chloe. As much as fans hated to see the series end at all, and may have wished for things to have turned out differently, the story had a very fitting ending.

Lucifer won’t be a show fans soon forget (or will ever forget), and some are still keeping their fingers crossed that there will someday be a movie continuation. For now, the series has ended, and the series finale serves as a love letter to the characters fans adored for six seasons. That’s why it’s definitely one of the best Netflix series endings of all time.
