Action movies and shows are all the rage on Netflix right now. The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez premiered in May 2023, and it’s already one of the top 10 most-watched Netflix movies of all time. FUBAR starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which was also released in May, is one of the most popular Netflix shows of the year so far.

And, to top it off, there are even more action movies headed to Netflix in the near future and throughout the rest of 2023.

The film tells the story of Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), who was presumed dead after the first movie, returns. This time, he’s going to save the family of another high-profile criminal from prison.

Extraction 2 is going to be one of the biggest movies of the year so far. It would not surprise me to see this movie crack the top 5 on the all-time Netflix Top 10, and it might even end up as the most popular Netflix movie ever.
