The Choice cast: Who stars in the romance movie?

If you’re a fan of the romance genre, you’ll be happy to know that the romantic drama film The Choice has been added to Netflix. If you’re looking forward to watching this tearjerker, we must share with you who stars in it.

The Choice is a 2016 movie directed by Ross Katz from a screenplay written by Bryan Sipe. Like many other films, it’s an adaptation of another piece of work. It’s based on the 2007 book of the same name by best-selling romance author Nicholas Sparks.

It tells the love story between a veterinarian and a medical student who meet first as neighbors in a small coastal town and end up in a relationship that upends both of their well-planned lives.

Tony nominee Benjamin Walker plays the role of Travis Shaw, a charming veterinarian who isn’t looking to be in a serious relationship because he believes it’ll cramp his style. You might recognize Walker from his other roles in the movies Flags of Our Fathers, In the Heart of the Sea, The Ice Road and The King’s Daughter. He also had roles in the TV shows Jessica Jones, The Underground Railroad and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Terese Palmer portrays the role of Gabby Holland, a spirited medical student who’s looking to settle down with her long-term boyfriend. She moves in next door to ladies’ man Travis and eventually begins a love affair with him.

You might’ve watched Palmer in the films Bedtime Stories, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I Am Number Four, Warm Bodies, Lights Out, Hacksaw Ridge and Berlin Syndrome. She also starred in the main role of Diana Bishop in the British fantasy series A Discovery of Witches.
