Whether you’re an old-time SWAT fan, a new one, or about to become a new one, thanks to Netflix, it’s all good news for the procedural action drama! The CBS show will begin streaming Wednesday, May 17, 2023, on Netflix. How many seasons will be available?

There are six seasons, with the season 6 finale set to air on television on May 19. Initially, the network actually dropped the series and decided to cancel it. However, in a rare turn of events, CBS changed its mind and reversed its decision thanks to the passionate fans, per Deadline. That means a 13-episode seventh and final season will be part of the 2023-2024 lineup. That should be sometime in fall 2023 if agreements between the studio and WGA happen soon enough.

Alright, so the show currently has six seasons, with season 7 on the way. What does that mean for Netflix? How many will be streaming on the platform? We’ve got the answer for you below!
