However, with three films in the franchise, it can be a bit confusing to know how to watch them in order. Don’t worry, our shagadelic friends, because we’re here to help!

The three Austin Powers movies, which have just been added to Netflix U.S., are true works of art in our eyes. So, in what order should you watch them?

Austin Powers movies in order

The best way to experience the Austin Powers movies is to watch them in order.

The first film in the series is Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997). This is where it all began, and it’s the perfect place to start. In this movie, we’re introduced to all of the main characters, including Austin, Dr. Evil, and Vanessa Kensington (played by Elizabeth Hurley). It’s full of the cheesy jokes and double entendres that make the series so iconic.

Next up is Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). This movie takes place after the events of the first film, and once again sees Austin and Dr. Evil battling it out. This time, Dr. Evil has a new sidekick, Mini-Me (played by Verne Troyer), and Austin gets some help from the gorgeous Felicity Shagwell (played by Heather Graham). This film also introduces us to one of the most famous characters in the franchise, Fat Bastard (played by Myers himself).

Last but not least is Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). This movie takes things to a whole new level, as Austin travels back in time to the seventies and meets his father, played by Michael Caine. Meanwhile, Dr. Evil teams up with a new villain, Goldmember (also played by Myers), who has his sights set on world domination. This movie features some of the most outlandish scenes and characters of the series, including Beyoncé as Austin’s love interest.

So, there you have it, now you know how to watch the Austin Powers movies in order.
