There are several new Netflix movies arriving on the weekend of March 31, but which ones are worth your time, and which can you skip?

With the last weekend of March upon us, now is the time to decide how you want to spend the last few days before April! Will you watch an action-packed crime thriller about an infamous female assassin, the latest Adam Sandler comedy, or will you revisit an old favorite before it leaves Netflix (possibly for good)?

We can help you decide what to watch with a curated list of options below!

Best Netflix movies to watch this weekend

Find out which Netflix movies are worth your time this weekend and which ones you’re better off skipping.

Kill Boksoon

Watch! Killing is the easy part, it’s being a mother that’s the challenge. Kill Boksoon is a highly-anticipated South Korean crime action thriller perfect for fans of John Wick and Quentin Tarantino. If you can’t make it out to the theaters to see John Wick 4 this weekend, then stay home and watch a renowned female assassin kick ass.

What Lies Below

Skip! As much as I love Mena Suvari, this 2020 thriller is a real dud. Netflix is removing this flick on April 3, so you might be considering watching it now before it leaves, but honestly, you’re better off just letting it go without hitting play. What Lies Below follows a teenager who starts to think there’s something dark and supernatural about her mother’s new paramour.

Hush

Watch! Watch it before it’s gone. Netflix is removing this popular home invasion film on April 7 despite the fact it has called the streaming service home for several years now. Directed and co-written by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass) and his wife Kate Siegel, who stars in the film, Hush is a tense thriller that will get your heart pounding. Siegel plays a deaf writer living in a secluded house in the woods who must fight for her life when a masked killer begins terrorizing her.

Murder Mystery 2

Skip! Unless you’re a huge Adam Sandler fan, Murder Mystery 2 probably isn’t worth your time. Murder Mystery wasn’t great to begin with, and didn’t necessarily warrant a sequel, but this is your typical Sandler comedy fare, and if you just want something easy to watch and a few laughs, it might be the perfect fit. The sequel follows Aniston and Sandler’s characters, Nick and Audrey Spitz, as they struggle to get their private detective agency off the ground. But an opportunity presents itself when their friend gets kidnapped during his wedding.

Psycho

Watch! Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 slasher film Psycho starring Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins, is an absolute masterclass in tension-building and suspense. Netflix is also adding the Hitchcock film The Birds, so this weekend is the perfect time to marathon some true classics! Psycho and The Birds will both be added on Saturday, April 1.
