It looks like Netflix will be losing a show from its romantic comedy-drama section soon because ABC’s The Baker and the Beauty is slated to depart the streamer in April 2023. After two years on the platform, Netflix has given the show a removal notice and the departure date is very near.

The Baker and the Beauty is a television series developed by Dean Georgaris. It premiered on ABC in April 2020 but was canceled after only one season two months later.

Adapted from the popular Israeli series  Beauty and the Baker by Assi Azar, comes a show about a blue-collar baker named Daniel Garcia whose life is unexpectedly turned upside down when he meets and strikes up a relationship with supermodel Noa Hamilton.

Victor Rasuk stars in the leading role as Miami baker Daniel Garcia. Nathalie Kelley plays the role of international superstar Noa Hamilton. The rest of the cast is made up of Dan Bucatinsky, David Del Río, Michelle Veintimilla, Belissa Escobedo, Lisa Vidal, Carlos Gómez, and many others.
