Canadian sitcom Workin’ Moms has been a staple for many comedy lovers, as the show is a perfect mix of hilarious moments and heartfelt scenes when you least expect it. But all good things must come to an end, and unfortunately for this CBC series that means it’s in its final season. Workin’ Moms season 7 was announced in 2022, with creator Catherine Reitman confirming this would be the end of the comedy.

For those watching in Canada, viewers got the chance to start the final season in Jan. 2023, but if you’re only able to watch the sitcom on Netflix after the season has its run on CBC, you’re likely waiting on the edge of your seat for the new episodes. We come bearing good news, though! Netflix has confirmed Workin’ Moms season 7 will be added to the streaming service in April 2023!

When is Workin’ Moms season 7 coming to Netflix?

The streaming giant released their lineup for April 2023 this week, sharing details for highly anticipated releases like BEEF, The Diplomat, Sweet Tooth season 2, Welcome to Eden season 2, and Firefly Lane season 2 part 2. Also included in the long list of upcoming arrivals is Workin’ Moms season 7, which is now confirmed to hit Netflix on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Like most new releases on Netflix, we’re expecting Workin’ Moms season 7 to be added to the platform in full at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET that Wednesday morning.

That’s almost a month away, so be sure to mark your calendars!

The seventh and final season is currently still airing on CBC, with the finale scheduled for a Tuesday, March 28 airdate. That means the season is headed to Netflix less than a month after the finale airs, which is pretty awesome!

Catherine Reitman previously spoke to Variety about ending the show, revealing she wasn’t even confident the sitcom would make it to season 2 in the beginning. “Honest to God, I was so hopeful that I would get to Season 2,” she shared. “The first season was so based off my real-life experiences, my terror was that people would think I was some indulgent actress who wanted to drag my audience along with what it was to be a working mother from my point of view.”

Fans of the series are no doubt happy they’ve gotten seven seasons, even though they aren’t ready to say goodbye. But as CBC viewers are getting ready to wrap up the show, Netflix users are excited to start the final season. So get ready for more laughs in April!
