All of the Barbie movies and shows available to watch on Netflix right now

With Greta Gerwig’s highly-anticipated Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie slated for a July 2023 release, many fans and Barbie fanatics are looking for other Barbie movies and shows to watch to keep them occupied in the meantime.

Luckily for Barbie lovers, Netflix has a lot of Barbie movies and television series streaming on the platform. We’re still a long way off from Gerwig’s Barbie film, but at least there is no shortage of Barbie-themed media to consume in the meantime.

Netflix added Barbie: Mermaid Power in September 2022. Barbie & Chelsea: The Lost Birthday is one of the newer films in the franchise (and the 38th movie overall), as it only came out in November 2021. It’s also notable because it is the first movie to feature Chelsea in a starring role. The Lost Birthday follows Chelsea on her 7th birthday as she goes on a cruise with her family. This is also an easy movie to watch, just one hour in length.

Barbie Epic Road Trip is a newer film that arrived in the fall of 2022. Netflix describes the film as “an interactive adventure” (meaning viewers can make decisions and interact directly with the story, similar to Black Mirror: Bandersnatch), where “Barbie goes on a cross-country trek with friends and makes big decisions about the future. Which dream will she choose?”

Barbie: Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure is a brand-new Barbie movie just released in March 2023.

Are any Barbie shows on Netflix?

In addition to the above movies, there are also several Barbie shows streaming on Netflix, including the following:

Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures is one of the longest-running Barbie shows, with five seasons, although only three are currently streaming on Netflix. It’s a follow-up to Barbie: Dolphin Magic, which you can also watch on the streamer.

Suppose you’re a diehard Barbie fan but want to expand your horizons. In that case, Netflix has several similar shows and movies streaming that might appeal to you, such as Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Winx Club, World of Winx, Sailor Moon Crystal, LOL Surprise: The Movie, Rainbow High, My Little Pony, H2O: Just Add Water, Mako Mermaids, and The Baby-Sitters Club.
