You deserve to take some downtime this weekend and enjoy some great Netflix shows. The streamer offers a wide variety of genres with several new additions this week. This week’s biggest release is You season 4 part 2. Also new this week is part 2 of The Glory and Outlast, a new survival competition.Below are some great recommendations of shows to watch this weekend and two you can skip for now.

This week’s top shows include Outer Banks, Sex/Life, Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal, Perfect Match, and Wrong Side of the Tracks. Fans of Shadow and Bone are counting down to March 16, the release date for the second season of the series. If you enjoy fantasy mystery dramas and have yet to watch season 1, you really need to give this a watch.

If you are interested in some great movies this weekend, all four of The Hunger Games movies are currently streaming on Netflix, and World War Z was also recently added. Idris Elba is back to continue the story of Detective John Luther in Luther: The Fallen Sun.

You season 4  part 2

WATCH! Joe (Penn Badgley) is back for the final chapter of the fourth season of the wildly popular psychological thriller You. Part 1 of this season seemed to set up things for the back half, and fans are eager to find out what happens next. The season follows Joe as he ends up in London and takes on the new identity of Johnathan Moore, and works as a university professor. But a fresh start for Joe doesn’t mean he can outrun his dark past.

Outlast season 1

SKIP! Outlast is the newest raw survivalist competition series featuring 16 competitors set loose in the Alaskan wilderness. The twist in this series is that in order to win the million-dollar prize, the contestants must be part of a team. While it may be an entertaining twist on a survivalist series, you can skip it this weekend.

MH370: The Plane that Disappeared

WATCH! Netflix has a knack for cranking out some fantastic docuseries, and this one is no different. MH370: The Plane that Disappeared premiered on March 8, 2023, the ninth anniversary of the flight, and it is already sitting at number one on the top 10 TV shows list. The mystery of Flight MH370 has baffled scientists,  investigators, journalists, and family members of the 239 missing passengers who disappeared without a trace on March 8, 2014.

Married at First Sight season 12

SKIP! Across its twelve seasons, Married at First Sight has shown it all. While it is a wildly popular series, there are many more unique series in the genre of romance and wedding reality to choose from. Skip this one this weekend and try Love on the Spectrum, Say I Do, or The Big Day instead.

Pasión de Gavilanes season 2

WATCH! Who doesn’t love a great Colombian telenovela? Pasión de Gavilanes recently released its second season on Netflix, and it is already sitting high on the top 10 TV shows list. The story follows three brothers who seek to avenge the death of a loved one but become mixed up with the daughter of those they believe are responsible. The second season occurs 20 years after season 1 while the family faces new challenges.
