Lucifer cast: Tom Ellis

Ellis played the titular character of Lucifer. He charmed audiences with his charismatic portrayal and devilish good looks.

What has Tom Ellis done since Lucifer ended?

The Welsh actor has kept a low profile since the series ended in 2021, only resurfacing to do a few voice-acting roles on The Great North and Robot Chicken. Funnily enough, he voiced Satan in his Robot Chicken episode.

What is Tom Ellis doing now?

Ellis will reunite with Netflix again for the upcoming 2023 romantic comedy film Players co-starring Gina Rodriguez. We do not have a release date for the movie just yet, but it is scheduled to come out sometime this year. Stay tuned to Netflix Life for more updates on the movie.

In January 2023, it was announced that Ellis would team up with his wife Meaghan Oppenheimer, and actress Emma Roberts for a Hulu romantic dramedy series called Second Wife. Oppenheimer and Roberts are executive producing. Roberts will also star in the project alongside Ellis.

The actor was also previously cast in the Hulu limited series Washington Black alongside Sterling K. Brown, but there haven’t been any updates on this project in over a year, so it’s unclear if it’s still happening.

But the 44-year-old’s work with Netflix isn’t quite done just yet. He will lend his voice to the upcoming adult animated series Exploding Kittens based on the popular card game of the same name. Lucy Liu will also star. Needless to say, fans of the Lucifer star have plenty of exciting projects to look forward to starring the handsome actor!
