If you’re curious about the movie and want to learn more ahead of its release, you’re in the right place! Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie.

What is a Chupacabra?

Traditionally a Chupacabra is said to exist in parts of Latin America. The monster is a terrifying hairless mystical creature that feasts on the blood of livestock, in particular goats. However, the Jonás Cuarón version deviates from its original legend to create a much more family-friendly beast.

“We drew inspiration from several animals but also the descriptions of the different chupacabra sightings that were reported in the ’90s. Our goal was to create an incredibly cute creature out of terrifying legend,” the director revealed to Tudum.
