Florida Man release date, cast, synopsis, trailer, and more

Netflix’s new limited drama series Florida Man will star Edgar Ramírez from the Netflix original family film Yes Day. Deadline reported about the series’ development and additional casting announcements back in August 2021.

Netflix previously announced Florida Man was developed by creator Donald Todd, as well as Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan’s Aggregate Films. The series is part of Aggregate’s first-look deal with the streamer. Aggregate Films is also responsible for the wildly successful Netflix original Ozark. With this team involved, it is bound to be another great feature for Netflix viewers.

The limited series will have hour-long episodes and reunite Ramírez with Miguel Arteta, director of Yes Day. Arteta will direct the pilot and second episode as well as executive produce. Also directing will be Julian Farino, Haifaa Al Mansour, and Kevin Bray.

When is the Florida Man release date on Netflix?

How many episodes is Florida Man?

Netflix confirmed that the limited series will contain seven total episodes. While the episode count has been confirmed, the exact runtime of each episode hasn’t been revealed, but since it’s a drama series, the lengths are expected to range from 45 to 60 minutes long.

Florida Man synopsis

Ramírez plays a struggling ex-cop, Mike Valentine, who returns to his home state of Florida. He is working on what should be a quick case to locate a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend but becomes a journey into family secrets and a battle to do the right thing.

LaPaglia plays his father Sonny, who at his core is always the criminal who served as chief of police of Mike’s hometown. Lee is Delly West, a complication Mike doesn’t need right now.
