It’s safe to say that The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is going to be the film of the century in the same way that the original installment of The Hunger Games changed the film industry forever.

The upcoming prequel title will be set in a time before our heroes Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark shook up society for the better, and will instead follow the life of President Snow before he became the dictator that we know him to be. What’s more, we will learn how Snow’s upbringing and participation in the Hunger Games as a mentor led to a disastrous future, full of countless deaths.

If this intriguing synopsis wasn’t enough to get you hyped, then we believe the cast will, as it features tons of your favorite celebrities. As per The Hollywood Reporter, here’s who’s set to star in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes: Tom Blyth as President Coriolanus Snow, Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray Baird, Viola Davis as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, Hunter Schafer as Tigris Snow, Josh Andrés Rivera as Sejanus Plinth, and Peter Dinklage as Casca Highbottom.

Of course, we’re going to have even more stars added to this amazing cast list in the future. But while you wait to learn more about the full cast of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, read on to find out whether the film will arrive on Netflix after its theatrical release.

Will The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes stream on Netflix?

While we don’t have official word whether The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will stream on Netflix, we’re keeping our hopes pretty high, as the streaming service is slowly (but surely) acquiring other installments of The Hunger Games.

The prequel film will be released in theaters on Nov. 17, 2023. Ahead of its theatrical release, plans for its streaming home haven’t been confirmed

Netflix added all four of The Hunger Games movies on Wednesday, March 1, to its site for 31 days, meaning you can now watch the whole saga on Netflix.. We’re keeping our fingers crossed, hoping for the best, that the prequel will find its way on Netflix in the future, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to know for sure.

As you wait to learn which streaming service will be lucky enough to acquire The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, be sure to catch up on the many other dystopian titles currently on Netflix, such as What Happened to MondayThe Platform, and Awake.
