Happy weekend! Hopefully, you will schedule some downtime and enjoy some outstanding Netflix shows. This week’s top shows include the new season of the Netflix original series You, Full Swing, New Amsterdam, and more. Below are some fantastic recommendations, with two you can skip for now.
This week’s new release Netflix shows include Full Swing, #NoFilter, CoComelon, In Love All Over Again, Perfect Match, African Queens: Njinga, and Red Rose. February 2023 still has many great features yet to release, including the highly anticipated season 3 of the action-adventure series Outer Banks on Feb. 23.
This week’s top movies include the newly released 2Guns and The Woman King.

The Upshaws part 3
Watch! The sitcom The Upshaws part 3 was released on Feb. 16. The series, created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, who also stars, focuses on a working-class Black family who lives in Indiana. As head of the family, Bennie (Mike Epps) works as a mechanic to take care of his wife, two daughters, and son while putting up with his sardonic sister-in-law (Sykes). The series also stars Kim Fields, Page Kennedy, and Gabrielle Dennis.
Full Swing
Skip! Unless you are an avid golfer interested in the lives of professional golfers, on and off the course, you can skip this one. Full Swing is an in depth docuseries that follows a group of professional golfers at some of the world’s most significant events.
My Lover My Killer
Watch! One of the newest docuseries released on Netflix is My Lover My Killer, and you want to check this one out! The second season features more victims whose lives were cut short by relationships that went terribly wrong. This must-watch series has a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Perfect Match season 1
Skip! Perfect Match brings together famous singles from some of Netflix’s other reality dating shows Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, Too Hot To Handle, The Mole, and more. The singles are swept away to a tropical paradise to find love in a dating series hosted by Nick Lachey. If all of these singles have already been featured in other series, this might repeat what you’ve already seen. You can likely skip it for now.
The Law According to Lidia Poet season 1
Watch! Inspired by the true story of Italy’s first female lawyer, The Law According to Lidia Poët is a period drama that is an exciting mystery crime series. When Lidia is prevented from practicing law, she takes a position in her brother’s law firm. She then assists criminal suspects in seeking the truth while preparing her appeal to overturn the court ruling stating she can not practice law because she is a woman.
