Is Marlowe starring Liam Neeson on Netflix? (where to watch)
Academy-nominated actor Liam Neeson is back with a new movie titled Marlowe, and you might want to check it out yourself. However, if you’re unsure where you can watch this movie, we’ve got you covered.
Marlowe is a thriller film directed by Neil Jordan from a screenplay written by William Monahan. In addition, it’s based on the 2014 book The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville.
You might recognize Jordan as the creator of the short-lived drama series Riviera. He also wrote the screenplay and directed the psychological thriller, Greta. Additionally, Monahan is best known for writing the award-winning screenplay for the crime thriller The Departed. You might also know him for writing the screenplays for the movies Body of Lies, The Gambler and The Tender Bar.
The story is set in the late 1930s in Los Angeles, California. It follows a down-on-his-luck private detective named Philip Marlowe, who becomes entangled in a dangerous, deadly investigation after he’s hired to find the former lover of a dazzling heiress. Besides Neeson, the talented cast is made up of Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Danny Huston, and many others.
