3 best Netflix shows to watch (and 2 to skip) this weekend, Feb. 10

The weekend is here, and that means it’s time to relax with some fantastic Netflix shows. The streamer’s February 2023 releases are in full swing, which includes the recent release of part 1 of the highly anticipated season 4 of You. Below are recommendations for three great series to check out and two you can skip.

This week’s top shows include You, New Amsterdam, Ginny & Georgia, Wednesday, and if you’re in into the supernatural, check out Lockwood & Co. 

This week’s top movies include Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, You People, and the newly released Your Place or Mine, a new rom-com that stars Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon.

Best Netflix shows to watch and skip this weekend, Feb. 10

Below are recommendations of three shows to watch on Netflix and two you can skip for now.

You season 4 part 1

Watch! Penn Badgley is back, but this time Joe is gone, and in his place is Jonathan Moore, who is now located in London. A new name isn’t the only thing going on in Joe’s, or rather Jonathan’s life. He is currently a professor and begins a new life with a clean slate. But will Joe’s dark past creep back up? Of course, it does. With a new love interest and new friends comes a string of recent murders.

Love is Blind: After the Altar season 3

Skip! Love is Blind: After the Alter is a three-episode checkup on the couple from Love is Blind’s third season. As a refresher, the couples who will be featured are Alexa and Brennon, Colleen and Matt, SK and Raven, Nancy and Bartise, and Zanab and Cole. Stick to the original series on this one.

My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 1

Watch! This new animated series is a great family-friendly choice that sees siblings Lisa and Sean curious about their dad’s occupation. The action comedy sees the siblings stow away on their father’s latest trip for work and discover he is more than your average dad: He is an intergalactic bounty hunter. Lisa and Sean then embark on a fantastic journey led by their dad as they battle aliens and robots in space.

Survivor season 32

Skip! Survivor is a long-running series, so there is obviously an audience for this series, but there are many more exciting reality series to choose from on Netflix. Check out Physical: 100 instead.

MTV Floribama Shore season 1

Watch! This series is new to Netflix but originally aired on MTV in 2017 and is a successor to Jersey Shore. The series is set in the Florida panhandle, with beaches stretching to the shores of Alabama. It has much better ratings than Jersey Shore and has been called an unpredictable Southern reboot.
