Emmy Award-winning actor Colman Domingo is set to star in a new Netflix limited series called The Madness, and we shared all that we know about the upcoming show right below!

On Feb. 8, Netflix announced a series order for a conspiracy thriller called The Madness. This series is under Chernin Entertainment’s overall deal with Netflix. Peter Friedlander, Vice President of Scripted Series at Netflix for the U.S. and Canada, spoke on the show’s order and said, “The Madness is a fresh take on the conspiracy thriller — turning the genre on its head with its multi-layered characters, propulsive action and swift pace.” I don’t know about you, but this show seems like my type of show!

Stephen Belber, who’s best known for writing the screenplay for the HBO film O.G., created the series and is also a co-showrunner and executive producer. VJ Boyd also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. In addition, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kaitlin Dahill, and Clément Virgo are signed on as executive producers. Lastly, Virgo, Quyen Tran, and Jessica Lowrey are set to direct the episodes.

Here’s everything else you need to know about the limited series.

Is The Madness filming?

As of Feb. 9, principal photography has not started on the thriller series. However, What’s on Netflix reported that cameras should start rolling on March 13. The news outlet also reported that production will take place mostly in Canada and wrap up on June 27, 2023. But keep in mind that Netflix has not revealed the official production schedule nor the creative team behind the series. So, we’ll have to take this information with a grain of salt. We’ll let you know when filming starts once we find out.

Once the official release date is announced, we’ll share it with you right away.
