Netflix has announced a bunch of new Netflix shows coming in 2023, including Virgin River season 5, Love is Blind season 5, Big Mouth season 7, The Crown season 6, The Fall of the House of Usher, and more.

2023 will be one of the best years for Netflix shows to date! If the first months of the year are anything to go by, there’s already so many new hits that have made their mark.

The year has featured the returns of so many of our favorite original series and a great deal of new titles fans have adored. Whether you’re someone who loves romantic dramas or someone who prefers to dig their teeth into a brand-new action show or someone who would rather enjoy a mind-bending sci-fi title, there is definitely something right up your alley!

From Ginny & Georgia season 2’s debut in January 2023 to the highly anticipated premiere of Virgin River season 5 and Lupin part 3 this fall, here are all the Netflix show confirmed to be on the way in 2023!

Best Netflix shows coming to Netflix in 2023

Ginny & Georgia sure did take its sweet time returning to our screens, but we don’t mind because the sophomore season sure blew our minds. Now we continue to wait for Netflix to renew the series for a third season.

Following the release of Ginny & Georgia season 2 in January, That ’90s Show soon followed later in the month. The sitcom reboot has already been renewed for a second season. February saw the successful releases of You season 4 part 1 and Outer Banks season 3, while March finished You season 4 and debuted the new blockbuster action-thriller The Night Agent.

Spring 2023 might be one of the most exciting release windows of the year so far with the premieres of Beef, The Diplomat, Firefly Lane season 2 part 2, Sweet Tooth season 2, Queen Charlotte, FUBAR, and XO, Kitty. The final episodes of Manifest and Never Have I Ever each kick off the summer rush in early June.

And summer sure came in swinging with hit titles such as The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, Heartstopper season 2, Painkiller, and Sweet Magnolias season 3. All of these big shows that gave us something to binge-watch this summer tees up a lighter fall in comparison, but there are lots of titles to look forward to, like Sex Education season 4 and more.

Although additional shows such as Emily in Paris season 4 could have possibly premiered by the end of 2023, the one-two punch of the writers’ and actors’ strikes put the production of movies and television series at a standstill. If you’re wondering why some of your favorite shows will end up getting delayed, it’s because those who make them are fighting for a fair deal from the studios.

However, we did tell you that you’re bound to see some of your favorite shows on this list! Of course, there’s likely plenty more where that came from, as Netflix will continue to confirm even more upcoming new releases in the future. But until then, be sure to save all these dates and tune in to the very best shows coming to Netflix in 2023!
