After a limited theatrical release, You People has finally made its way to Netflix. And, of course, it’s the movie everyone’s currently streaming. I mean, not only does the romantic comedy feature a cast of a bunch of amazingly talented actors, but it also has an incredible soundtrack. You People is Kenya Barris’s latest project at Netflix. He and Jonah Hill worked together on the script, and then Barris took over as director. Also, both creatives produced the film with Kevin Misher.

It’s about a new couple who decide that they’ve reached the “meeting the parents” stage in their relationship. However, things don’t go as smoothly as they had hoped when the couple finds themselves dealing with their parents clashing views of their relationship.

The cast comprises actors such as Hill, Lauren London, Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and David Duchovny, so there are tons of funny moments throughout the film. Overall, this is definitely a movie you should check out if you haven’t already.
