3 best Netflix shows to watch (and 2 to skip) this weekend, Jan. 27

As January comes to a close, it’s exciting to look at what’s to come in Netflix shows releases for February. Released on Jan. 27, the series follows a group of talented teenage ghost hunters in London. The group comes up against corporate agencies, but if they can solve their latest task, they will change the course of history.

Love Never Lies: Poland

Skip! Love Never Lies: Poland is a reality series spinoff of Love Never Lies, which was set in Spain, this time, travels to Poland. The series features six couples whose loyalty to the relationship will be tested. Each couple tries to remain true to their companion as temptations are dangled before them. This is one reality series you can skip over.

The Snow Girl season 1

Watch! The Spanish mystery series The Snow Girl, based on a novel by Javier Castillo, is one show you need to add to your watch list. The series follows an intern journalist, assisted by a veteran journalist, as she tries to locate a missing girl who disappears into the crowd at the 2010 Cavalcade of Magi in Málaga (Three Wise Men parade), an annual celebration. As she conducts the investigation, events of her past sneak up on her.

Kings of Jo’Burg season 2

Skip! The South African series Kings of Jo’Burg is a confusing meld of the supernatural and crime drama. While many may find the story fascinating, it will likely be too hard to follow for the casual viewer.

Physical: 100

Watch! Fans have described Physical: 100 as a real-life Squid Game, only better. The worst thing that has been said about this new reality game show series is that the episodes are released weekly. The series pits 100 contestants of different ages, races, and genders against one another. The contestants are given unconventional physical challenges, none that result in deaths, as in Squid Game, as they work to win the cash prize.
