Demon Slayer season 2 will finally make its landing on Netflix on Jan. 21! Since we’re only a couple of days away from the anime’s return on the streamer, we thought we’d share the release time. We would hate for you to miss when the new episodes drop.

Demon Slayer, or better known as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is a very popular anime series. It’s an anime adaptation of the best-selling manga series of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows a teen boy named Tanjiro Kamado who sets out on a journey to become a demon slayer and find a cure for his sister after his entire family is killed and his younger sister is turned into a demon.

Two seasons have been released so far, with a third season set for an April 2023 release. However, Netflix didn’t acquire the first season until January 2021. And the streaming giant is just now getting the second season in early 2023. Although nothing has been said about Netflix getting the third season, I’m sure the streamer will receive it sometime after all episodes are released.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Many of us still need to watch Demon Slayer season 2. So, when will the second season make its way to Netflix? Find out below!

What time is Demon Slayer season 2 coming to Netflix?

Demon Slayer season 2 is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which is 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. If you’re in the Central time zone, you can expect the 7-episode “Mugen Train” arc to drop at 2:00 a.m. Central Time on Jan. 21.

As expected of an anime series, the episodes are in the 20 to 30-minute range. Since they’re pretty short episodes, you might be able to watch the complete arc in one sitting. If not, maybe you’ll be able to get through half of it.

If you’re wondering if Demon Slayer season 2 is okay for kids to watch, it’s important for us to mention the maturity rating. The second season is rated TV-14 for fear, gore, strong language, self-harm, and violence. We think it’ll be okay for older kids to watch, but we wouldn’t recommend letting younger kids watch it. There are many frightening and intense scenes that may be scary to some kids.

Be sure to check out Demon Slayer season 2, arriving on Netflix on Jan. 21 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET.
