A new spinoff called That ’90s Show drops on Netflix on Jan. 19, and many fans of That ’70s Show are looking forward to watching it to see if it does the original series justice.

That ’90s Show is a teen series created by Bonnie and Terry Turner and their daughter Lindsey Turner. Gregg Mettler served as showrunner and executive producer, along with Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner also signed on as executive producers.

The show centers around Leia Forman, Eric and Donna’s teen daughter, as she spends the summer of ’95 with her grandparents in Point Place, Wisconsin. There, she experiences one of the best summers of her life with the neighborhood kids.

While watching the series, you might be wondering where exactly it was filmed. Is Point Place, Wisconsin real? As always, that’s no problem for us! We shared the filming locations for the teen series down below.

Is Point Place a real town from That ’90s Show?

If you watched That ’70s Show, you probably already know the answer to this question since Point Place is the primary setting for that show too. But to sum it up, Point Place is not a real town in Wisconsin that you can visit. Instead, it’s a made-up town for the show.
