Topher Grace

Topher Grace was the initial main star of the show, with the group congregating in his basement and his parents being the main focus out of all the adults. However, he was also the first of the actors to leave the series, setting up some questionable plot moments. Like, why would any of them hang out in Eric’s basement? Of course, with Steven being fostered by the Formans, it was a little easier to explain.

Eric was Kitty’s “sweet and innocent” little boy, though he happened to be anything but. He was a typical teenage guy in the ’70s but did love his girlfriend, Donna. Despite being a smaller guy and his girlfriend being stronger than him, Eric is honorable and will stand up to people if he needs to.

As for Grace, he moved onto movies, but he didn’t quite escape the role of Eric Forman. His first role after leaving That ’70s Show was voice work as Eric/Topher Grace in Robot Chicken. He did return for the series finale and then moved onto Spider-Man 3 as Venom

He’s done a mixture of roles over the years, including comedies and action. He was in Valentine’s Day (yes, with Ashton Kutcher), Predators, and The Double. Every year he has had multiple projects since leaving That ’70s Show, so it doesn’t look like it was a bad choice.

Most recently, his film roles include BlackKklansman as David Duke, Delirium as Tom, and Irresistible as Kurt Farlander. Currently, Grace stars in the ABC family sitcom Home Economics, which is in its third season. He plays an author, husband, and father of three navigating the financial disparities between his two siblings. Grace also returns as Eric in That ’90s Show.
