Ozark, Jenna Ortega, and 15 Netflix nominations at the 2023 SAG Awards

It was recently announced that beginning in 2024, Netflix will become the official streamer of The Screen Actors Guild Awards. This change will happen next year during the 30th anniversary of the awards. In 2023 the SAG Awards will be held on Feb. 26 at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. This year’s event will stream on Netflix’s YouTube channel, for which the streamer has 15 nominations. 

Netflix has significant representation in the 2023 SAG Awards nominations recently announced by Ashely Park (Emily in Paris) and Haley Lu Richarson (The White Lotus). It is no surprise that Ozark leads with four nods or that The Crown and Dahmer each have two. Julia Garner has two nominations for her performances in Ozark and Inventing Anna.

Stand-out actors of 2023, Jenna Ortega and Ana de Armas, have each secured nominations for their roles in Wednesday and Blonde, respectively. Other titles that have secured nominations include Stranger Things, Hustle, Dead to Me, and The Good Nurse.
