On the other hand, Georgia is trying her best to act like everything is okay and hopes that Ginny will eventually get over it. To distract herself, Georgia has decided to put all her focus on planning her wedding to Paul. But she also has to deal with her archnemesis Cynthia Fuller still trying to bring her down as well as PI Gabriel Cordova.

You might’ve noticed that Georgia’s enemy Cynthia has the same last name as Tom. Are they related in any way? Here’s all there is to know about the Tom Fuller character below!

Spoilers ahead from Ginny and Georgia season 2.

Who is Tom Fuller in Ginny and Georgia season 2?

Tom Fuller is the husband of Cynthia Fuller. At the beginning of the second season, we learn that Tom is in a comatose state after suffering from an unknown illness. We also learn that he will likely never wake from the coma or recover. So, Cynthia spends most of the season struggling to deal with her husband dying while also taking care of her kid Zach. She eventually finds a distraction in Joe, but that romantic relationship is short-lived after Cynthia realizes that Joe is in love with Georgia.

Although Cynthia and Georgia spend most of the season as enemies, they eventually reach common ground after Cynthia blacklists Georgia’s abusive ex-boyfriend Gil from getting an apartment in Wellsbury. They end up having a heart-to-heart conversation in Cynthia’s kitchen, where Cynthia discusses with Georgia how Tom’s illness has been affecting her and Zach. But once the conversation ended, Georgia did something that completely threw us for a loop.

What happens to Tom Fuller in Ginny and Georgia season 2?

After Cynthia and Georgia end their conversation, Georgia walks into Tom’s room and smothers him with a pillow until he dies. It’s unclear why Georgia decided to commit such a horrible deed, but one could guess that it was her way of expressing her gratitude to Cynthia for helping her out with Gil. However, she could definitely expressed her thankfulness in another way other than murder. It doesn’t help that her son Austin witnessed the entire murder from a cabinet in the room.

Although Georgia didn’t necessarily have to murder her ex-husbands in the past, at least those murders made sense in a way. They were causing her and/or her children harm. Tom didn’t do anything to Georgia or really know her. Furthermore, he was going to die eventually. So, Georgia killing Tom just didn’t make sense. And in the season finale, she ends up getting arrested for his murder. So, what did she really gain from it in the end?

Fingers crossed, Netflix renews Ginny and Georgia for a third season because we just have to see where Georgia’s story goes next.
