Full list of Netflix movies confirmed for release in 2023

When it comes to Netflix movies, 2022 really upped the ante with some of the best original movies we’ve seen from the streamer. There were action-packed blockbusters, laugh-out-loud comedies, and tear-jerking dramas galore. Thankfully, 2023 will keep the good times — and movies — rolling.

The year kicked off on a high note with the Christian Bale-starring mystery thriller The Pale Blue Eye and continued with a romantic comedy from Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher, the long-awaited Murder Mystery sequel, and The Last Kingdom’s follow-up movie.

Throughout the rest of the year, we have a long list of thrilling and captivating Netflix movies to look forward to, including Heart of Stone, The Killer, Rebel Moon, and so much more!

Last year, Netflix promised that we would receive new movies every week, and they appear to be keeping that promise well into 2023. There are many, many new Netflix movies coming in 2023 to be excited for, and we’re sharing all of the films confirmed for the year so far.

Netflix movies coming in 2023

While dozens of new movies have already premiered in 2023 or have dates announced throughout the year, the upcoming movie release calendar has continued to fill out.

Netflix hasn’t announced the full movie slate for 2023 as of August, but there are handfuls of movies already on the books throughout the rest of the year.

Additionally, Netflix also revealed a first look at its animated movie slate for summer and fall, which contains so many future family favorites. The Monkey King and Leo join Nimona this summer for a string of great movie night picks. (There’s also an advanced look at some titles to look forward to in 2024!)
