The waiting game is finally over. Ginny and Georgia season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. At the beginning of the season, the mother-daughter duo isn’t necessarily on speaking terms due to Georgia’s dark past coming to light. So to keep herself occupied, Georgia puts all her focus on planning her wedding while leaning on Paul for emotional support.

But Paul wants Georgia (Brianne Howey) to open up more. He feels like he doesn’t really know Georgia since he’s constantly learning something new about her. Paul even makes a conscious effort to bond with Georgia’s kids because he wants them to feel comfortable around him since they will become family soon. He tries to do everything he can to bring them closer together, but Georgia just won’t do the same. She avoids speaking about her background and past because she wants to keep everything surface-level. Georgia believes that if she told Paul about all she’s done in the past, he wouldn’t want to be with her. And she doesn’t want to mess up one of the very few things in her life that’s good.

Although Georgia’s unwillingness to open up may bother Paul, it’s not a deal breaker for him. He’s still willing to marry Georgia because he loves her that much. But do Georgia and Paul actually get married this season? Find out right below.

Spoilers ahead from Ginny and Georgia season 2

Do Georgia and Paul get married in Ginny and Georgia season 2?

Yes, Georgia and Paul get married in the season 2 finale. Initially, I wasn’t sure they would walk down the aisle, but they made it happen. However, they had to overcome a huge obstacle before saying their “I Do’s.”

After Gil (Aaron Ashmore) shows up at Georgia’s house and hurts Georgia, Ginny and Austin run into the kitchen to find Georgia on the floor. Then, without hesitation, Austin shoots Gil in the arm. This incident makes Georgia realize that she and Paul can’t be together. She believes that if she and Paul get married, she’ll only drag him down. So, she secretly calls off the wedding by calling the wedding venue and canceling. Georgia also decides that she will pack up her things and take her kids with her to Lake Powell. She’s doing what she used to do in the past: run when things get hard.

However, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) manages to convince Georgia to stay in Wellsbury. She tells Georgia that she should open up to Paul about her past. At first, Georgia is turned off by the idea but decides to try it in the end. So, Georgia sits down with Paul at the dining table and tells him mostly everything about her criminal past. But, of course, she leaves out the part about her murdering her ex-husbands. After Georgia finishes talking, Paul tells her he has to go and walks out the door. Georgia doesn’t know what to think at this moment.

The next morning, Paul sends Georgia a text telling her to meet him in his office. Georgia becomes nervous and thinks Paul might turn her over to the police, but she shakes it off and visits him anyway. Once Georgia arrives at the office, Gil shows up a minute later.

Paul pretty much tells Gil to stop harassing Georgia, or he’ll make a call to his parole officer and get him locked up again. He also tells Gil that he knows about the blackmailing and that he won’t get a dime from him. Paul even tells Gil that anytime he wants to see Austin, he’ll have to go through him first. Obviously, Gil doesn’t like what he hears, so he tells Paul that he’ll go to court to fight for custody. But Paul lets him know that doing so wouldn’t be good on his part since he’s got a good lawyer. Then, Gil is escorted out of the office.

Paul sets his eyes on Georgia and tells her that marrying her wouldn’t be a smart decision, but he couldn’t see spending his life without her. They share a sweet kiss, and the wedding is back on. However, now Georgia has to find a new wedding venue since she canceled the original one. Ultimately, the wedding takes place at Wellsbury Town Hall. Georgia and Paul say their vows to each other and then share their first kiss and dance as a married couple.
