All eyes are on when we’ll find out what happened to our favorite Umbrellas. When will The Umbrella Academy season 4 come to Netflix?

There are a few Netflix shows that are coming to an end with upcoming seasons. The Umbrella Academy is one of them. Season 3 ended with all Umbrellas losing their powers and it looks like time has been reset. The question is what actually happened—oh, and where is Sloan?

We don’t get to find out just yet. The Umbrella Academy season 4 is not on the list of new releases in January 2023. That’s not surprising, though, considering filming hasn’t even started. What do we know about the show so far?

When is The Umbrella Academy season 4 coming to Netflix?

We’re going to be waiting a while. In fact, we probably won’t see the season in 2023 at all. Filming won’t start until February 2023. This came from Production Weekly, which gives the code name as “Kodiak.” It’s common for big shows to get code names. Just look at The Handmaid’s Tale and its code name “Ruby Road.”

Now, the season is only going to be six episodes long. That could mean filming can finish by the summer. However, it’s still unlikely that we’ll see the season arrive before the end of the year. A show like this has a huge post-production process. There are just so many graphics to through in. While the Umbrellas may not have their powers just yet, they are likely to get them back before the end of the series, right?

We’ll know a little more once filming does get started. It happens in and around Toronto, Canada, and the show usually keeps us updated via social media. You just need to read the captions carefully as the creative team likes to have some fun with us.
