Kaleidoscope was created by Eric Garcia. It’s about a crew of skillful thieves who attempt an epic heist worth $7 billion dollars. The elaborate heist is on a seemingly unbreakable vault guarded by a powerful security team. Will the masterful thieves crack open the safe and walk away $7 billion dollars richer? Find out by watching Kaleidoscope only on Netflix.

The talented cast includes Giancarlo Esposito, Paz Vega, Rufus Sewell, Tati Gabrielle, Rosaline Elbay, Peter Mark Kendall, Jai Courtney, Niousha Noor, Jordan Mendoza, and others.

So, is the new Netflix original appropriate for kids to watch? Here’s what we know.

Kaleidoscope parents guide and age rating

The heist drama is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s intended to be viewed by mature adults only. It was given this maturity rating for strong language and violence. We’re not surprised that this show is rated TV-MA given what it’s about. You can expect various weapon use, alcohol consumption, and tons of criminal activity and fighting scenes. Since weapons and strong violence are involved, you can also expect bloodshed.

If you take a look at the thrilling official trailer, you can see criminal activity such as thieves robbing a bank. You can also see clips of shoot-outs between characters, and one of the main characters is badly injured with blood seeping through his jacket. Overall, you probably don’t want your younger kids watching this type of content. However, it may be okay for older kids.
