Grey’s Anatomy season 19 is not coming to Netflix in January 2023

We’re ready to binge-watch Grey’s Anatomy season 19 on Netflix, but that isn’t going to be possible just yet. It’s not on the list of January 2023 releases.

There is a lot of bad news to start this post. The first is that we won’t even get any new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy season 19 on ABC in January 2023. The show has aired six episodes of the season so far, and the seventh isn’t set to air until February. This is disappointing news for fans, especially since the series went on its winter break before Thanksgiving.

It shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that the show won’t be on Netflix just yet, then. The whole season needs to air on ABC before Netflix gets it. You’ll need to head to Hulu to watch the six episodes of the season already out.

When will Grey’s Anatomy season 19 come to Netflix?

How long exactly do we need to wait for the episodes to come to Netflix? We don’t have a clear answer just yet, and that’s because we don’t know when the finale will air.

Grey’s Anatomy season 19 is expected to have at least 20 episodes. It may have the usual 22 to 24 episodes a full season on broadcast does. All we know right now is that the next episode is going to be a goodbye to Meredith Grey. Ellen Pompeo is leaving the series, but she will be back for the finale episode.

That finale is likely to air in May 2023. Netflix then needs to wait 30 days to get the full season, so we’re still looking at June 2023 as when Grey’s Anatomy season 19 will arrive on the streamer in full. Until then, the episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
