Emily in Paris season 3 has arrived and there is a lot to love about the new season which is full of new and unexpected twists — some good, some bad. Among the more unexpected twists that come at the beginning of the season is the answer to the burning question left in the season 2 finale: would Emily leave Savoir to join Sylvie’s new startup or remain loyal to Madeline?

Warning, Emily in Paris season 3 spoilers await you.

In the season premiere, we discover that Emily is living a double life. While she has joined Sylvie at her new marketing firm, she’s also working with Madeline at Savior out of loyalty to all Madeline has done to help her career over the years.

As you might guess, trying to juggle life at both firms does not come easily to Emily whose true allegiances are tested right out of the gate when she gets the opportunity to pitch McDonald’s as part of a campaign for a new menu item coming to French locations. Knowing how big of a deal it would be, Emily sends it Sylvie’s way and they arrange to have dinner with the McDonald’s representative at a luxury restaurant in the Eiffel Tower.

That’s right, an Eiffel Tower restaurant.

Let’s just say the dinner ends up being one Emily won’t soon forget, but it’s the location of the restaurant that is easy for fans to get hung up on. After all, when one thinks of the Eiffel Tower, they don’t often think of it being home to any restaurants.

Eiffel Tower restaurant

If you’re questioning whether the Eiffel Tower restaurant mentioned in the Emily in Paris premiere is fictional, we’re here to confirm that there is indeed a restaurant located in the Eiffel Tower. In fact, there are actually a total of four restaurants in the Eiffel Tower!

The Eiffel Tower is home to Madame Brasserie, Le Jules Verne, Bar À Campagne, and Salon Gustave Eiffel. The restaurants are located on the first three floors of the Eiffel Tower and are highly sought destination spots that offer stunning views of the city.

The Le Jules Verne, where Sylvie has Julian book a table for the dinner with the McDonald’s rep, is located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and is a high-end restaurant with a strict dress code. So it makes sense the restaurant would be used as the backdrop of such an important business meeting as is the case in season 3.

Emily in Paris is streaming now on Netflix.
