December is a busy month for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! Earlier this month, the two debuted their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, which focused on their love story and exit from the royal life. They have a new documentary series dropping just weeks later, but the duo is on the production side this time. Get ready for Live to Lead!

They executive produced Live to Lead through their production company, Archewell Productions. The series was created and directed by executive producer Geoff Blackwell. Ben Browning, Chanel Pysnik, Ruth Hobday, and John Sloss also take on EP duties.

The upcoming project is a part of the couple’s multi-year deal with the streaming giant made in September 2020. So what is this new docuseries about? Here’s all we know!

Live to Lead release date

The Netflix docuseries will premiere Saturday, Dec. 31, on the streaming service. There will be a total of seven 25-minute episodes.

According to the Netflix synopsis, the production is meant to reflect extraordinary leaders and is inspired by Nelson Mandela. We’ve shared it below:

"Extraordinary leaders reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity. Inspired by the iconic legacy of Nelson Mandela, Live to Lead highlights the fundamental values, daily disciplines and guiding principles that leaders employ to motivate others and create meaningful change."
