Harry and Meghan season 2: Will there be another season of the docuseries?

One of the most highly anticipated documentaries of the year, Harry and Meghan, was officially released on Netflix on Thursday, December 7. The docuseries follows the royal couple from the beginning of their relationship up to now and dives into the troubles and tribulations they experienced while in the fold of the British Royal Family, and reveals some of the reasons why they felt forced to step back from their full-time roles from one of the worlds oldest and prestigious “institutions.”

From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated, and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, the docuseries shines a new light on one of the world’s most-discussed couples in history. But could Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return for another docuseries?

Will there be a Harry and Meghan season 2?

The Harry and Meghan docuseries is already split into two parts, consisting of six episodes in total, with the first three episodes officially premiering on Dec. 7, and the next three episodes set to be released, a week later on the streaming giant on Dec. 15.

But as for a Harry and Meghan season 2 docuseries, that is currently unknown, and frankly quite unlikely as the pair have only signed a deal with Netflix for just one documentary on their life, and considering their tell-all exclusive brings us up to date on what the royal pair have been up to since leaving their full-time roles as working British royals, we doubt they’ll have much left to say. Though, who knows, maybe after a few more years Harry and Meghan will return with a new documentary.

However, their relationship isn’t quite over with Netflix yet. As previously reported, Harry and Meghan signed a $100 million deal with the streaming giant, which promises viewers an animated series and a show based on the Invictus Games, in addition to the recent tell-all.  However, it is currently unknown when these projects will be released on Netflix.
