The Office leaving several international Netflix regions in 2025

Unfortunately, it’s time for more fans of The Office to say farewell to the hit workplace comedy soon, as the fan-favorite series has an end date to leave Netflix in many international territories. According to What’s on Netflix, over 20 regions were scheduled to lose The Office in January, but will now lose it in two years.

The hit American version of The Office, which aired on NBC to great success for nine seasons between 2005 and 2013, left Netflix in the United States in January 2021. NBC’s Peacock streaming platform nabbed the exclusive streaming rights stateside.

Although Netflix in the United States lost The Office back in 2021, international Netflix regions gained all nine seasons of the series throughout the past year. But all good things must come to an end, even our favorite shows calling Netflix home from time to time.

But it’s now understood that the comedy will stick around Netflix internationally for two more years, bringing the expiration date sometime in early 2025.

Which countries will lose The Office on Netflix?

These are the countries slated to lose the series in 2025, per What’s on Netflix: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Even though The Office will now be leaving Netflix in those regions in two years, the series has also been available to stream Amazon Prime Video and Peacock in the United Kingdom. It’s unclear where other countries will have the comedy available to watch, but check Amazon Prime Video and Peacock for availability in your specific country.
