You’ve had the chance to see the ’90s for the Royal Family. The Crown season 6 will continue that and push us into the ’00s. When will the season air?

The Crown season 5 brought us the Revenge Death, the recording of Charles and Camilla’s secret conversation, and the big interview. There are still some major moments from the late ’90s still to come, including the untimely death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Then there are some major moments from the ’00s to cover.

We will have The Crown season 6. After an initial thought that it wouldn’t happen, Peter Morgan decided it was necessary after all. And Netflix agreed. So now we’re looking at any updates we have about the sixth and final season.

When will The Crown season 6 come to Netflix?

Netflix has not yet confirmed when the sixth season will arrive, but we’re looking at it likely happening in November 2023. This would match the releases of previous seasons.

The latest we learned was that The Crown had found its William and Kate. This would suggest we’re going to get later into the ’00s to bring us William’s time at St. Andrews University, where he met Kate Middleton. Rufus Kampa will play a 15-year-old William as he struggles to deal with his mom’s death and Ed McVey will play an older William at St. Andrews, according to Variety. Meg Bellamy will play Kate Middleton.

Season 6 will cover Diana’s death. Back in October, the series was getting ready to film the events. During filming in November, Elizabeth Debicki was spotted in an animal print swimsuit, which matches the one Diana wore while holidaying with Dodi Fayed shortly before their deaths. We’ll also see events from the early ’00s, which include the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother.

The Crown is available to stream on Netflix.
