Is Devotion starring Jonathan Majors on Netflix? (where to watch)

The 138-minute motion picture Devotion has received great reviews since it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. After considering its significant critical acclaim, it seems wise to presume that the entire affair is undoubtedly an ideal cinematic endeavor to experience from start to finish. But can Netflix subscribers get in on the epic action war drama with some serious star power in the cockpit?

The J.D. Dillard-directed feature film is based on the captivating story told in the book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice written by author Adam Makos in 2015. The genuinely compelling and profoundly moving historical war flick follows naval officers Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown as they risk their lives and become Navy heroes during their heroic efforts in the Korean War.

Jonathan Majors, who plays Jesse Brown in Devotion, made his presence known in Lovecraft Country. He continues to add to his impressive resume with roles in Creed III, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Starring alongside him is Top: Gun: Maverick star Glenn Powell as Tom Hudner.

The rest of the cast consists of talented individuals such as Joe Jonas, Christina Jackson, Thomas Sadoski, Serinda Swan, and Daren Kagasoff. In addition, the screenplay for the well-crafted movie with impressive scores on Rotten Tomatoes was penned by Jake Crane and Jonathan A. Stewart.

Is Devotion available on Netflix?

Anyone who subscribes to the streaming powerhouse should immediately lower their high-flying expectations and quickly eject all hope of watching this brilliantly-made motion picture. Devotion is not available on Netflix yet, but since it is a Sony movie, it will be eventually.

Fortunately, there are plenty of military films based on real events. Some exhilarating titles available to stream now include Mosul, The Siege of Jadotville, and Sand Castle, to name a few.

When will Devotion be on Netflix?

It’s hard to say precisely when Devotion will come to Netflix because Sony movies have been a little all over the place thus far. It will arrive in 2023 at some point, hopefully by next summer.
