It’s been over three decades since the first A Christmas Story movie was released, and fans are finally getting a sequel to the beloved holiday classic. But are subscribers able to watch A Christmas Story Christmas on Netflix?

For some, watching A Christmas Story on the day is part of their tradition, and there is no denying the loveable feature film has been showcased on many TV screens each year. The hilarious, heartfelt antics of little Ralphie Parker and his friends and family just put people in the yuletide spirit.

In the follow-up, Ralph Parker is all grown up with a wife and kids, who he relocates to his hometown of Hammond, Indiana, and reunites with his old pals. Unfortunately, Ralphie’s dad has sadly passed on, so his mom convinces him to take over the responsibility of bringing out the magic in Christmas like his father did. While his old man may have made it look easy, Ralphie is found out the hard way that a magical Christmas is a tall order.

Peter Billingsley reprises the role of Ralph once again in the heartwarming narrative along with Erinn Hayes, Julie Hagerty, Ian Petrella, Scott Schwartz, R.D. Robb, and Zack Ward. The 98-minute feature was directed by Clay Kaytis, whose credits include The Christmas Chronicles and The Angry Birds Movie.
