What is Falling for Christmas starring Lindsay Lohan about?

The holiday season obviously begins in November, and it’s the best time of year! That’s because there are so many festive movies to help us get into the spirit. An upcoming film we’re so excited about is Falling for Christmas.

The Lindsay Lohan-led production is directed by executive producer Janeen Damian, with the sceenplay written by Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver. Michael Damian and Brad Krevoy serve as producers. Executive producers Steve Berman, Bryan Bordon, Jimmy Townsend, David Wulf, and Amanda Phillips are also attached to the project.

The upcoming film is set to be released Thursday, Nov. 10 on Netflix. Those on the West Coast, you’ll want to stay up as the movie will drop at 12:00 a.m. PT! East Coasters may want to wait until the next day, as the production makes its debut at 3:00 a.m. ET.

Falling for Christmas movie synopsis

Falling for Christmas is centered around a spoiled hotel heiress, Sierra Belmont (Lohan). The newly engaged gal gets into a skiing accident, which causes amnesia. She doesn’t remember anything about herself or her life. Sierra finds herself in the care of a “handsome, blue-collar” lodge owner, Jake, and his “precocious” daughter, Netflix shares. And of course all this happens in the days leading up to Christmas. Could some holiday magic come into play?

Joining the Mean Girls alum onscreen are actors Chord Overstreet as Jake, George Young as Tad, Jack Wagner as Beauregard Belmont, Olivia Perez as Avy, Chase Ramsey as Terry Carver, Sean J. Dillingham as Ralph, and Antonio D. Charity as Sheriff Borden.
