How many episodes are in The Crown season 5?
By Diana Nosa
With the highly anticipated premiere of The Crown season 5 coming up, it’s time we fill you in on what you can expect from the newest installment. Specifically, how many episodes you’ll be captivated by this time around.
As you know, every season of the Netflix original series thus far has had 10 episodes. However, now that we’re nearly in the home stretch, could there be a switch-up with the episode count in season 5, or is everything the same as usual?
Here’s everything to know.
The Crown season 5 episode count
Looks like we aren’t doing things differently this time because The Crown season 5 is confirmed to have a total of 10 episodes!
Naturally, we can’t divulge what is in store for each episode, but maybe you can take a wild guess, as we tell you the names of all 10 episodes below (via Radio Times):
- Episode 1: “Queen Victoria Syndrome”
- Episode 2: “The System”
- Episode 3: “Mou Mou”
- Episode 4: “Annus Horribilis”
- Episode 5: “The Way Ahead”
- Episode 6: “Ipatiev House”
- Episode 7: “No Woman’s Land”
- Episode 8: “Gunpowder”
- Episode 9: “Couple 31”
- Episode 10: “Decommissioned”
By the sound of it, the first episode may parallel the very first episode of The Crown, as “Queen Victoria Syndrome” refers to a severe issue with blood that can put one’s health at risk. Maybe the events of this episode will foreshadow that of the season 5 finale, especially if someone’s declining health ultimately leads to their removal from service.
The possibilities are endless, but of course, there’s only one way to find out.
Last but not least, it’s important for us to note that each episode will be an hour or so in duration, so you may have to break up your watch to truly savor every minute. But perhaps you would rather take on the challenge of binge-watching everything in a single sitting. (We don’t blame you!)
Regardless of who you are, you’re all set to stream all ten episodes of The Crown season 5 on Wednesday, Nov. 9, only on Netflix!
